Shaftesbury Theatre

A pale peach auditorium adorned with white stone pillars and statues, the Shaftesbury is a serene theatre whose highlights include detailed carvings above the boxes and a glittering chandelier. Despite being a prominent 1,400-seater monolith on the corner of Shaftesbury Avenue and High Holborn, it’s witnessed some of the biggest flops in West End history. Let’s hope the curse is broken!
