Cheap Shrek The Musical tickets at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane
If you’re a fan of the movie series you’ll love Shrek The Musical, a hilarious, critically acclaimed production adapted for the London stage by the director of Avenue Q.
All your favourites from the land of Far Far Away are here. Dean Chisnall is brilliant as Shrek, the grumpy green ogre with a heart of gold. Carley Stenson plays half-human love interest Princess Fiona, and Richard Blackwood is Shrek’s loudmouth best bud, Donkey.
Like the movie, the show breezily skewers beloved fairy-tale characters but features more in-depth versions of Shrek and co. Its songs, sets and costumes so good they’re almost ‘ogre’whelming!
It’s great fun for kids and grown-ups alike but, sadly, children under 4 will not be admitted.
Grumpy green ogre Shrek just wants to be left alone, but the fairy-tale creatures outside his forest home won’t leave off for a minute. He’ll do anything for a quiet life and, in fact, he has to.
Vertically-challenged egomaniac Lord Farquaad sends Shrek on a mission to rescue the beautiful Princess Fiona from a fire-breathing dragon, helped, loosely, by a wise-cracking Donkey. Shrek soon discovers a secret that threatens to put paid to his dream of a quiet life for good.

Based on the massively successful Dreamworks film of the same name, Shrek the Musical is the story of Shrek, an ogre who finds himself beset by a bunch of maddening forest creatures who live near his home and absolutely will not shut up for a second. In order to get them to finally put a sock in it, he must embark on a quest to save the beautiful Princess Fiona from a fire-breathing dragon. Like you do.
With unforgettable characters like blabbermouth Donkey and the odious Lord Farquaad entering the frame along the way, Shrek the Musical is a witty, high energy extravaganza with something to offer the whole family.
