The National Theatre gem, based on the children's book by Children's Laureate Michael Morpurgo, neighed its way to the New London Theatre and shows no signs of trotting off! With eye-popping on-stage puppetry that mimics a living, breathing horse, this moving tale is made all the more real by its skilled performers.

At the outbreak of World War One, Joey, young Albert's beloved horse, is sold to the cavalry and shipped to France. While Joey is taken to combat on the front lines, Albert can't forget his once prized horse. He embarks on a treacherous mission to find him and bring him home – before it's too late.

With the Steven Spielberg film coming out, there has never been a better time to see for yourself what makes War Horse in London so special. You certainly won't be disappointed with your War Horse tickets as you witness what many consider a tremendous feat of theatre.
