Post And McGranaghan Join Jersey Boys Cast For Fifth Anniversary

Edd Post (left) and David McGranaghan (right) join the cast of Jersey Boys at the Prince Edward Theatre on 13 March, just ahead of the show’s fifth anniversary in the West End on 26 March.

Post will play the Four Seasons’ songwriting mastermind Bob Gaudio. His previous theatre credits include the UK tour of We Will Rock You, the 50th Anniversary UK and world tours of West Side Story, and the role of Prince Harry in Sleeping Beauty at Wyvern Theatre.

McGranaghan will play the role of Nick Massi. His previous stage work includes Chariots of Fire at the Gielgud Theatre and Macbeth, The Homecoming, The Merchant of Venice and The Taming of The Shrew for the RSC. Among his film appearances are Gulliver’s Travels and Bridget Jones Diary.

Post and McGranaghan will join current cast members Ryan Molloy who plays Frankie Valli and Jon Boydon as Tommy DeVito. Jon Lee of S Club 7 fame plays the role of Frankie Valli in some performances.

Other cast members include Will Barratt, Nicola Brazil, Rebecca Jayne Davies, Ben Evans, Chris Gardner, Lucinda Gill, Mark Halliday, Mark Isherwood, Ben Jennings, Tommie Earl Jenkins, Stuart King, Lucy Martin, Stuart Milligan, Jake Samuels, Michael Watson, Ben Wheeler and Gemma Whitelam.

Jersey Boys is a jukebox musical that charts the rags-to-riches rise through the 1960s of legendary pop band Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.
